How do the free tier and paid plans work together?
The free tier is designed to help you understand how Caseoowl fits into your existing process before you commit. You can explore the canvas, build a small number of case studies, and try core AI assistance on shorter sections. When you are ready to ship more frequently, a paid plan unlocks higher limits, advanced export options, and more generous AI allowances so you can comfortably use the product every week.
What happens if I run out of AI credits?
If you reach your monthly AI credit limit, Caseoowl will never silently block you from accessing your projects or exporting work you have already created. Instead, heavy AI actions such as full-section rewrites or deep analysis are paused until your credits renew or you add an on-demand credit pack. You can always keep editing and structuring your story manually in the meantime.
Do you offer discounts for students or early-stage teams?
Yes. Caseoowl exists to help people break into and grow within product, design, and research roles. If you are a student, a career switcher, or part of a small team just starting to formalize your case studies, you can reach out through our contact form to request a reduced rate. We review these requests regularly and tailor discounts so that pricing never becomes the blocker between you and a strong portfolio.
Can I change plans as my workload changes?
Absolutely. Many users start on an individual plan, then upgrade once they begin collaborating with colleagues or handling more complex projects. You can move between plans without losing access to your existing case studies, and any changes take effect on the next billing period so you always know what you will be charged.
How do refunds and cancellations work?
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused days in a billing cycle, but you keep access to premium features until the end of the period you have already paid for. In rare cases where there is a billing error or a technical issue that prevents you from using the service, our support team will review the situation and work with you on a fair resolution.
